In March 2018 Claremont Planning celebrated 2 years of success by hosting a private party at Primitivo Bar, Barwick Street for clients and guests. It was a fantastic night had by all, looking forward to another year of achievement and growth.
As finalists for Small Planning Consultancy of the Year at the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence 2018, Claremont Planning attended the RTPI Awards ceremony at Milton Court, London on Thursday 24 May 2018. Whilst unfortunately Claremont didn't win the nomination, it was a fantastic night celebrating the winners and their achievements of the year.
Claremont Planning's success continues after being instructed to carry out a development options appraisal at Shawell Manor, a Grade II Listed mansion in Shawell near Lutterworth, Leicestershire. The owners were looking into possibilities for the redevelopment of the manor house for the provision of either a high end, boutique hotel or for a bespoke, executive residential care home. Following the professional advice provided by Claremont Planning, the owners have decided in proceeding with a scheme to develop Shawell Manor into an upper market Care Home with Claremont Planning arranging the relevant planning and managing the project moving forward. Claremont Will also be a submitting at Paragraph 55 application to Harborough Council for a dwelling to be built in the open countryside for the current owners of Shawell Manor occupation following it’s redevelopment.
Claremont Planning will follow the success of 2017 by expanding into larger offices at the start of 2018, but our address and contact details won't change as we will still be at the marvellous 2 Snow Hill.

Birmingham Office Opening @ 2 Snow Hill
Claremont Planning has moved into the new premises at 2 Snow Hill from April 2016, alongside national law firm Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co and the High Speed 2 headquarters. These new and prestigious premises are located off Colmore Row in the heart of the Central Business District of the City.
